Communicorp Honored as Top Finalist in Rod Key Marketing Excellence Awards

Communicorp, a subsidiary of Aflac and the largest regional provider of marketing and digital solutions, was recognized as a top finalist in the first Rod Key Marketing Excellence Awards from Digital Solutions Cooperative (DSCOOP), a community of HP Graphic Arts and technical professionals. Announced during DSCOOP’s 10th annual conference, Communicorp was among five peer finalists across North America for the company’s excellence in creativity, design and print quality for strategic marketing campaigns.

Communicorp received recognition for its “Be a Big Kahuna” campaign. The Hawaiian-themed campaign was designed to inspire select agents in Aflac’s Pacific Territory to increase sales and qualify for the company’s annual convention, which was held in Hawaii. The campaign consisted of a direct-mail piece with augmented reality, email marketing featuring communications from company executives and promotional items encouraging agents to reach sales goals. In addition, the campaign integrated personalized messaging using HP Indigo Presses to place variable data specific to each agent on print collateral, offering one-to-one communication.

Communicorp has received numerous awards, including being nationally recognized three times by the Printing Industries of America (PIA) – Premier Print Awards, one of the most highly coveted awards in the print industry, the annual Best Workplace in the Americas award and Best of the Best honors. The company has also recently received two Gold Ink Awards from Printing Impressions Magazine along with the prestigious Quality Management Certification for meeting standards established by the International Organization for Standards (ISO).
